Investing in AI Isn’t Easy

01

It’s a New Technology

The AI landscape seems to be changing by the millisecond. You’re looking for a partner that’s up to date with all the latest innovations to keep you in the loop.

02

Another "AI" Company?

It seems like every startup these days uses AI as a buzzword. You want to invest in a startup with real, innovative technology, not another low-effort ChatGPT wrapper.

03

Don’t Want to Make the Wrong Choice

You know that with the fast pace of this industry, you need to act sooner rather than later. But you want to make sure you have the full picture before you make any decisions.

A word from our Co-Founder...
I’m passionate about bridging cutting-edge AI research with real-world products that have an impact on our future. As a PhD candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, I was at the forefront of AI innovations and startups, collaborating with leading AI researchers at renowned institutions and AI startups. That was when I realized that I wanted to contribute to this space.

However, my time there also revealed one critical issue: In a field so full of buzzwords and complexities, truly understanding AI’s full potential and limitations can be a challenge. Today, I’m on a mission to leverage my expertise and help investors make informed decisions about AI startups, giving them clarity and confidence. My vision? A world where investors grasp the true potential of AI solutions, so that promising AI projects secure the funding they deserve.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take?

The answer depends on your goals and your budget. If you’re making a small investment, we may suggest only conducting research workshops with the target companies technical team. For our full research package, the process can take several weeks to a couple of months to complete.

Why should I use Intor in my investment process?

We can’t tell you what you should or shouldn’t do. What we can tell you is this: We’re living in an AI gold rush that’s full of investment opportunities right now. Unfortunately, it’s also rife with low-quality AI projects that have no depth to them. Our team of PhD researchers knows this world better than anyone – and we’re here to help you get all the facts on the technology before you invest.

What if a startup doesn’t want to share their codebase?

While we always recommend that startups give us full access to the code base, we understand that some might be hesitant to do so. In that case, we offer a slimmed down due diligence package where we conduct comprehensive research and workshops with the startup’s tech team. This way, we still get a full understanding of how their technology works, without reading every single line of code. Then, you receive this information in an accessible and unbiased manner.

How do you do this safely?

Great question. Startups share their codebase with us through a secure, controlled environment that we both agree on. We also sign comprehensive non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with each startup, legally binding us to maintain strict confidentiality.
